Working Monday to Friday 07:00am-16:30pm and overtime availble at weekends

We are currenty looking for a permanent line leader based in Evesham Worcestershire – You must have your own transport
Main duties
Main Tasks:
Loading & unloading of vehicles both manually and using material handling equipment (manual/electric pallet trucks and forklift).
Selecting, weighing and labelling of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Packing, Stacking and securing of orders.
Operating packing machinery when trained and authorised to do so.
House-keeping – cleaning all work surfaces and areas, keeping the areas neat and tidy, disposing of waste in the bins provided. The company operates a Clean As You Go Policy, which is explained in one of the training modules.
Follow all current and any new company and statutory regulations and procedures relating to the above.
Other reasonably related duties as assigned.

To be punctual for work.
To have a good attendance record ( refer to the policy on sickness and absence)
To co-operate with immediate managers and colleagues to accomplish their duties.
To be able to lift weights of 15kg to up to head height regularly and work standing up
You must be able to work on/with or use ( after training ) a conveyor
Responsibilities for Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Housekeeping (EFSIS):
Ensure that you are wearing clean, overalls and are tidely attired, and hats are straight. To ensure that you comply with our hygiene regulations, this will include the company jewellery policy and if you have a beard, you will be required to wear a beard snoot.
Ensure that your areas where food is stored or processed is kept clean, tidy and safe promoting a CLEAN AS YOU GO policy. No straps, netting or hazardous material left lying around and thus showing due concern for the health and safety of your colleagues, especially at the end of the shift.
Ensure that no pallets are left lying around and are stacked correctly, safely and in an optimum manner. fire exits are kept tidy (swept), miscellaneous products lying around are put away in the correct areas (and delabelled if required)
All damages and breakage’s are reported to Supervisor
