HGV Technician Job Details
Basic Salary: £42,016pa
Working Hours: 40 Hour Week
Week 1 – Monday-Friday – 06:00-15:00
Week 2 – Monday-Friday – 11:00-20:00 & 1 in 2 Saturday Mornings 07:00-12:00 (Time and a Half)
Location: Redditch
For the HGV Technician role, you will need to be qualified with a prior background in a commercial dealership or fleet environment working across a rotating early and late shift in a modern state-of-the-art workshop.
Responsibilities of an HGV Technician
·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.
Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Mechanic
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is advantageous
