We are currenty looking for a permanent line leader based in Evesham Worcestershire – You must have your own transport
Hours of work are 07:00am – 16:30pm Monday to Friday with weekend work available when required

The main purpose of the role is
To ensure your teams are focussed on producing products that meet the customer’s
required specifications, at a targeted manning and throughput level in order to minimise
cost in a timely manner within customer scheduled depot times
Duties:
To ensure that the lines are achieving the desired throughput with the optimum
amount of people to be efficient while working towards the relevant KPI’s.
· To ensure that the product is produced to the customer’s specification including
packaging and labelling.
· To communicate any quality issues to the Managers and technical team.
· To co-ordinate all back to stock product including market stock.
· To manage, monitor and control time keeping of all operatives.
· To train, develop and motivate your team to enable them to become autonomous.
· To ensure that the clean as you go policy is adhered to, advocating good
housekeeping while maintaining all heath and safety standards in order to provide a
clean and safe working environment for you and your colleagues.
· To ensure all associated record keeping including KPI’s, quality checks sheets are
completed in full real time.
· Communicate any issues effectively to the production supervisor
· To effectively plan and manage the set up and clean down (if required) of all product
and machinery on line to ensure efficient changeovers.
· To deputise for colleagues and Managers in areas of the business where you are
considered competent.
· To perform any other reasonable duties as and when required to meet the needs of
the business.
· You are responsible for reporting all accidents and near misses in the workplace
