Internal Sales/Order Processor

Our large construction client are looking to add an Internal Sales/Order Processor to their team, starting as soon as possible in the Haydock area.

Key Responsibilities

Answer all In-bound calls promptly aiming for 80% to be answered in less than 5 seconds

Take advantage of all sales enquiries to generate orders

Deal with any sales enquiries/queries

To serve customers on Trade Counter

To ensure total customer satisfaction is always achieved

Description of Duties

Process customer orders swiftly, efficiently

Undertake prospecting tasks to the requirement of the Sales Manager

Maintain good relations with existing customers

Build good relations with new customers

Maintain back order report and quotes daily.

Keeping the customer informed of delivery times

To provide quotes aiming to be competitive yet with maximum profit in mind

Liaise with Accounts regarding credit limits.

Liaise with Purchasing and Transport regarding deliveries

Experience

Previous experience in sales essential, ideally experience of selling a product rather than a service.

The ideal candidate will be confident, punctual, self motivated and well organised

There is no cold calling involved in this role.

Full training will be given to the successful applicant.

Hours

Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Salary

Negotiable based on experience – £20-£25k approx
