Driver
Job Type : Permanent, Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £10.42/hour
This role is for a Pro Active Delivery driver to support our clients rapidly growing business. The primary focus is around the regional delivery and collection of the core product offerings; however, it is our intention that the right candidate has the personality and skills to include basic sales and lead generation and offer a supporting role to the sales team which could offer a path for career development in the future.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Carry out planned/route in an efficient and timely manner in line with the requirements of the business
* Ensure that all equipment for the day is present, correct and loaded into the vehicle in a safe manner and line with the companys manual handling policies
* Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy by carrying out daily checks and its equipment and fittings
* Ensure the vehicle maintained correctly and is in a clean, presentable condition at all times
* To be polite and smartly presented at all times as a representation of our clients company
* Ensure driving is within the rules and regulations as set out in the Highway Code and company policies
* Follow all site/customer regualtions as required
Experience:
* No driving disqualifications wihtin the last 5 years
* No more than 3 points currently on your driving license
* Excellent attention to detail
* Basic georgraphical knowledge of the Northwest
