This role sits within our Health & Care division – catering for those in care homes, independent living villages and the NHS. Making a difference to local people across the UK, our Caterplus division prides itself on crafting superb environments for the over 55 community. By contributing to our customer's social life and fostering friendships, our quality and locally sourced food is matched only by the warmth of our customer service.
In line with government legislation it is a requirement of the role for all colleagues aged 18 or over and working in care homes to be vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they have a medical exemption. You will be asked to provide evidence that you have had a full course of the COVID-19 vaccination, or declare that you have a medical exemption.

We want you to fulfil your potential. That's why we will nurture and support your career every step of the way. As part of our team, you will be responsible for COSHH, food safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies, and duty of care to customers and colleagues.

As well as possessing exceptional communication skills, this role will combine intelligent cost control with pride in your culinary excellence. You will travel between sites to provide support where required and lead the team ensuring awareness of the menus and offers for the day's dishes. Moving between sites, you will benefit from working with different teams/clients and this role is a great platform for development.

– Catering experience with chef skills
