Press Officer
As the Press Officer, you will be proactively promoting the work of the services through effective use of PR tactics to support corporate objectives and the Corporate Communications Strategy. You'll have flexible working arrangements, whilst you will be required to work from our offices for parts of your initial training, after this you'll work both in the office and from home as part of our hybrid working model.
About the role
As the Press Officer you'll manage the reputation of the service, respond to media, and liaise with officers and authority members. Conducting internal communications audits and assist with establishing an internal communication strategy because of the audits and in conjunction with PR and Internal Communications Manager. You will also be working with Communication colleagues on key corporate communication campaigns.

Evidence of generating innovative communications ideas and pursing them to deliver successful outcomes.
Experience as a former Journalist.
Outstanding written communication skills.
Evidence of previous delivery of successful PR tactics.
A proven track record of planning and delivering complex integrated campaigns to time and budget, delivering to objectives.
Knowledge and experience of crisis management and the role of communications functions
