To provide administrative support to the sales office function and other areas of the business as required. Ensure that the client receive a high level of service at all times. Keep in regular contact with freight companies. Organise courier services for foreign/UK orders.
To undertake any general administration
Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm
Dutie’s:
Opening and distributing the daily post.
Checking and forwarding emails and faxes.
Checking carrier manifest and dealing with carrier queries.
Compile required information for sales staff. Including; quotations, data sheets, brochures, price-lists and sales data
Updating the CRM system (ACT)
Daily backup of the main server
Answering Incoming calls and taking the appropriate action.
Taking and processing sample and sales orders as required.
Processing credit application forms.
General filing duties
Credit account reviews.
Ensure that the sales team have their mail posted every Wednesday.
Contact raw material suppliers to progress outstanding orders if required.
Reduce freight costs wherever possible
Reconciliation of supplier statements
Knowledge of sage 200 would be a distinct advantage.
Attention to detail critical.
Good clear verbal communication
