Learning Support Assistant
Primary Children
Immediate start. This is a temporary contract until the end of the academic year. There is a possibility that for the right candidate the position will be extended.
8.30am – 3.30 pm Monday – Friday, 30 hours a week
Term Time only
We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant who is enthusiastic, passionate and open minded to working with students of any age and ability. They will have high expectations and be committed to pupils' learning and well-being.
We are particularly looking for someone who:
· has experience of working with children
· Is a creative, enthusiastic and energetic practitioner and a real team player.
· Can communicate with pupils, staff and parents effectively, both verbally and in a written form.
· Is someone who can use agreed teaching and learning strategies consistently, yet also respond to educational needs in the 'here and now' to enhance learning opportunities within a lesson.
· has empathy and can understand varying perspectives.

The candidates will preferably have relevant NVQ qualifications or equivalent. They must have a good standard of English and Mathematics (GCSE grade c plus or equivalent) and basic computer skills.
