Strategy Education are looking to recruit a qualified Primary School Teacher in the North West of Essex area to cover long term absence. This fantastic position will start after Christmas and the successful candidate will be required on a full-time basis.
This primary school offers a light, spacious and airy learning environment which benefits all styles of learners across the Foundation Phase. The Head Teacher is keen to ensure all pupils have a rich and varied learning experiences, therefore, the successful candidate must be willing to make a positive contribution to whole school life through extra-curricular activities This role requires an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about teaching with the experience of delivering the Foundation Phase and Key Stage 1/EYFS Curriculum and managing Teaching Assistants to maximise learning opportunities in a safe and secure environment.
They must work well within a team to help pupils achieve their educational goals and will assume full classroom responsibilities which will involve planning, marking and attending parents’ evening.

As a Primary School Teacher you’ll be expected to:
* Teach all areas of the school curriculum
* Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
* Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
* Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
* Maintain discipline
* Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
* Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
* Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
* Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
