1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants Needed for Primary Schools in Basildon, Wickford and Southend.
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant should:
* Have experience working with children with SEN (Autism ADHD, Global Delay, MLD/SLD) on 1:1 basis or in classes
* Have classroom based experience in both key stages
* Be flexible, proactive and patient
* Be able to communicate effectively within a team
* Be committed to work full-time

The main duties within the role will be:
* Working 1-2-1 with children who have: Autism, ADHD & behavioural challenges
* Leading small academic sessions with pupils on the SEN register
* Supporting children with reading, writing and phonics
* Liaising with the class teacher and SENCO around pupil progress
* Helping the class teacher to engage SEN pupils in lessons
* Assisting the class teacher with the setup of the classroom
