Duties
The role of Kitchen Assistant will include:
* Plan Menus, ordering, cooking, and serving healthy and nutritious food.
* Ensuring Budgets are adhered to and complying to Health & Safety compliance.
* Place orders through the online ordering system.
* Prepare, cook/heat and serve food.
* Ensure safe and hygienic operation of the kitchen.
* Planning of deep cleans and equipment is safe and fit for use.
* Monitor and record daily fridge / freezer temperatures.

Criteria
* Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate Desirable but not essential.
* Experience of working in a catering environment.
* Experience of preparing menus and balanced healthy eating.
* Working knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation including food hygiene procedures.
