Catering Supervisor

Salary : £22000 – £23000/annum parking, holidays, pension
Tailored Recruitment Consultancy are working with a leading Retail business to recruit an experienced Catering Supervisor for an Outdoor facility
This part time to full time role will be varied, in that during the spring and summer months, particularly during school holidays. During the off peak seasons between school holidays we will be open at weekends and during the week for schools and corporate bookings only so flexibility is crucial.
The company are looking for someone with GREAT catering experience for this role as you will work with the management team to ensure our selection of food offerings around the park are to the highest standard possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the daily running of the catering offering, which will be the 'Catering hubs' placed around our Outdoor Area.
* Ensure that customers experience the catering standards and that complaints are handled in accordance with our processes.
* The ideal candidate will have previously had food hygiene training and will have fantastic knowledge on food safety.
* Train and develop the team in the delivery of excellent customer service.
* Effectively delegate to the team but support during busy periods.
* Gain an understanding of the budgets in place, e.g. wages, sales etc to help and support the Assistant Manager.
* Deliver in a timely manner and ensure that business standards, regarding service and food, are met.
* Ensure all of the team are completing all of the tasks correctly and in a timely fashion.
* Assist the management team with rotas, holidays, sickness and lateness where needed.
* Provide coaching feedback to improve performance.
* Supervise, engage and motivate the team.
* Support the Assistant Manager with bi-annual performance reviews
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
* Previous experience in supervising others
* Previous catering experience is essential
* Able to work under own initiative without supervision
* A desire to want to create a GREAT customer experience
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Enthusiastic team player who is able to work with other colleagues in a dynamic working environment
* High energy levels with a cheerful disposition, even when under pressure
* Food Safety Certificate preferred (if you don't have this we will provide)
