Brightwork’s client is currently recruiting a Field Service Engineer – Mechanic for their Dumfriesshire site, where you will be responsible for servicing, repairing and maintaining mobile construction equipment and relevant attachments.
Purpose of Role
Responsible for undertaken servicing, repairing and maintenaning heavy good machinery and attachments. Mobile work required across the South West of Scotland for clients across their sites.
Main Responsibilities
Undertake range of duties to repair, service and maintain machinery
Diagnose and solve faults
PDI new machinery
High H&S to both colleagues and customers
Key Skills:
Understanding of hydraulics and electrics
Previous experience with modern machinery
Work well under pressure
Ability to identify faults
Strong knowledge of heavy construction equipment
Self motivated
Use own initative
Full drivers licence
Shift Details:
Monday – Friday
Overtime
Availability at weekends
