Company Secretarial Administrator
We are recruiting for a Company Secretarial/Trust Administrator for a fast growing and highly professional accountancy and finance practice based in the West End. This is a new role within an international business. Reporting to the Head of the division and in a team of three. STEP study support if needed and an amazing supportive Manager . This role is more diverse than the average role and incorporates compliance and many other areas
Main responsibilities include the below
·- Administrative support for current structures, setting up and liquidate structures.
·- Collecting and processing “KYC” and compliance documents, liaising with AML Reporting Officer.
·- General assistant Company Secretary activities including but not limited to:
o Preparation of ordinary Resolutions and Board Minutes
o Minutes taking at Board of Directors and Share holders’ meetings
o Change of Company’s registered office address
o Appointment and Termination of Company’s Director and /or Secretary
o Change of Company's name
o Change of accounting reference date
o Confirmation Statement and PSC Register
o Allotment and Transfer of shares
o Strike off Limited Companies
o Good standing certificate request
o Liaising with Companies House
– Drafting of documents and letters relating to client transactions.
– Liaising with notaries, solicitors, agents and other professionals.
– Providing first point of contact and responding to relevant enquiries from Clients and internally.
– Supporting the senior colleagues in a range of duties, as requested on a day-to-day basis.
– Liaising with banks:
o Opening and maintaining bank accounts
o Collecting, and processing compliance documents requested by banks
o Prepare payments and other banking tasks such as CRS/FATCA updates
– General trustee services:
o Supporting the senior colleagues in drafting trustees’ resolutions and deeds (i.e. deed of appointment, deed of appointment and retirement of trustee, deed of indemnity, etc);
o Assist in dealing with FATCA/CRS issues
Requirements
·2 plus years of experience with Company Secretarial duties / administration in accountancy / legal practice
·STEP Foundation Course would be an advantage but not a neccesity, full STEP qualification not required but a willingness to completing the STEP qualification would be welcome ·Ability to be flexible in managing various tasks with a strong eye for detail
Good team player with the ability to think and work independently and able to work as part of a small team
