CAD Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £26000 – £30000/annum
Fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation as a CAD Engineer. You must have a minimum of 3 years experience, use of using Solidworks software and degree qualified in mechanical and manufacturing engineering.
Nuneaton/Hinckley (New site due to open in the next few months, you will then be based in Hinckley)
Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm
£25,000 – £30,000 per annum
The main purpose of this role is to produce drawings for customer approval, then progress this design into production. You will be responsible for creating product designs, this will involve creating 3D models and from this produce DXF files for Laser cutting machines, and Brake presses in the future. Typical work range of products can be anything from simple single unit products to multiple lidded torsion spring assisted lifting products, and intruder attack tested products to LPCB ratings.
Person Specification;
– Previous experience using Solidworks
– 3 years previous experience is essential
– Degree qualified is essential
– Use of Driveworks digital printing and/or Radan Programming is desirable
– Excel software would be ideal as Kitlists and BOM creation are used within the role
