Cast UK are recruiting an exciting opportunity for an experienced Ladies Fashion Buyer to join a profitable family business with a rich heritage. The role provides lots of autonomy and requires a strong can do attitude. Reporting to the Managing Director the role provides the opportunity to develop and grow a historic brand. You will be a senior manager responsible for all fashion buying and overseeing of categories including swimwear, jewellery and accessories.
Key Responsibilities
Buying of all ladies fashion, including well-known and established brands
Support and oversee a small team of 3 x Assistant Buyers across wider categories including swimwear, jewellery etc
Help and mentor staff to ensure they have the tools needed to succeed
Monitor stock and conduct regular stock checks, in co-ordination with sales departments and seasonal trends
Define, communicate and execute short-mid term goals for the department to the sales team & wider business
Find cohesion between retail and e-comm operations, identifying synergies where possible
Demonstrate an understanding of the customer and what they will be looking for
Assist in store layout and collaborate with the Merchandising department to plan window displaysSkills & Experience
Experience working as a Buyer preferably in fashion or high-end product purchasing
A strong understanding of retail and e-commerce
Omnichannel purchasing strategies
Experience of managing and guiding Assistant Buyers would be advantageous
Strong IT & Tech experience – using EPOS systems would be preferableRemuneration
