They act for a wide range of clients, large and small, in both the private and public sectors including 15% of FTSE 350 firms with a defined benefit pension scheme.

They are looking to hire a digitally minded Graphic Designer to join their friendly and experienced Marketing team on a permanent basis as they take on exciting new projects and continue to develop their visual brand.

The Design team works in partnership with all areas of the business to deliver the growth objectives of the firm. The work includes the creation of designed material and promotional content, and management of social media channels to improve brand awareness, consistency and coherence.

Reporting directly into the Design Lead, the Graphic Designer is responsible for the successful delivery of a wide range of work, typically including the production of digital design assets like corporate literature, advertisements, newsletters and presentations.

This is a full-time position based from their Birmingham office and will be worked under their flexible-working 'WorkSmart' framework where you will have the option to share your time between the office and home.

As part of the team, you'll be responsible for successfully delivering a wide range of design solutions, primarily the production of digital design assets such as interactive brochures, online advertisements, email newsletters, social content and webpages. This would all be underpinned by their visual brand, which you will need to execute consistently and confidently as part of your role.

The ideal candidate will bring creative ideas to the table, be open to questioning design briefs and it's essential they keep themselves abreast of current design trends in an ever-changing digital world.

Person Profile:

You will ideally have a Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or similar, or be qualified by experience
Previous graphic design experience is required (ideally around 2+ years in a graphic design role is expected, although not essential)
You will be able to present a varied portfolio of digital work, demonstrating the ability to meet challenging client briefs creatively
Your work must show keen attention to detail with typography, editorial layouts and use of imagery
You will have a comprehensive working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud with particular proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects (please list those you are competent using during the application process)
Dreamweaver and Premiere Pro proficiency an advantage
Advanced front-end web design and HTML knowledge to develop online solutions is beneficialRewards & Benefits
