Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working with one of the UK's largest multi-disciplinary practices, seeking a Design Manager to join their growing team in Birmingham, West Midlands.

The company are seeking a Design Manager to join their renowned property and construction consultancy. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of high-quality projects across the UK, in different sectors and value ranges. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the multi-disciplinary design teams and projects nationwide, shaping the execution of Design Management on their projects. Individuals with experience leading complex projects as a Lead Designer, Architectural Project Manager, or with Main Contractor experience will also be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DESIGN MANAGER:

Plan and oversee the development of design proposals by multi-disciplinary teams
Lead design team meetings, workshops, and presentations
Review and approve design documents, technical submittals, and reports
Collaborate with clients, statutory bodies, and stakeholders
Develop Design Responsibility Matrices and Design Programmes
Manage RFI and Change Control processes
Promote health and safety through design
Advocate for BIM processes and contribute to BIM workshops
Support bidding and work-winning activities
Meet financial objectives and manage external design consultants
Enhance digital workflows in the design processQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Relevant industry experience in architecture or engineering
Understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work
Proficiency in digital tools for design management
Experience with BIM deliverables is advantageous
Strong leadership skills and attention to detail.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

The Design Manager will receive an excellent salary and benefits package which will include the following:

£50,000-£65,000
