This Project Architect role is one of the most exciting architectural vacancies of 2021, with the position being described as "potentially career defining" by the Studio Director due to the projects you will be working on. This is the perfect opportunity for an Architect or Project Architect with approximately 3-5 years of post qualification experience based in or around Birmingham, to really propel their careers in to a new dimension.

The practice are one of the UK's leading architectural practices with offices spread throughout the UK. The practice have recruited heavily in 2021 throughout all their offices taking on close to 25 people in the first half of the year, an exceptional figure given they haven't needed to utilise furlough or make redundancies during the pandemic. A Project Architect is now required in the Birmingham office to head up a marquee project that the studio has recently won.

As Project Architect you will be working alongside an Associate Director heading up a team of Architects & Assistants, leading a large scale Education scheme. The project is currently under an NDA, so further details are unavailable at this stage though these will be made clearer in time. The role will see you liasing closely with the client, attending site visits, producing high quality design and technical work, whilst working within a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

When it comes to software, the practice utilise AutoCAD & Revit throughout the office. Given the nature of this initial project and the projects you will be working on thereafter, Revit proficiency is essential to this position. Other skills and qualifications required as follows:

RIBA Part 1/2/3 qualifications (UK recognised)
RIBA chartership and ARB registered
At least 3-5 years of post Part 3 qualification experience
Comfortable leading/running projects whilst leading a small team.
Experience working in varied sectors with Education being of particular interest.
Experience working on new builds and refurbishment projects.
Revit proficiency.

In return, the Project Architect will be offered a salary in the region of £38,000-£42,000 per annum (neg. dependant on experience), alongside a competitive benefits package.
