THE COMPANY:

As a Principal Landscape Architect you will be joining a large scale multi-disciplinary consultancy, based in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, but would also consider candidates for their office in Birmingham city centre. The company is made up of a wide variety of disciplines, which includes; Architecture, Urban Design, Planning, Surveying, Project Management, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design and more.

As a whole, the company work in a broad range of sectors and project types, touching on; Residential, Commercial, Mixed Use, Healthcare, Education and more. The dedicated Architectural/Landscape team in Sutton Coldfield tend to focus predominantly on the Residential sector, working with some of the top Developer & Housebuilder names throughout the UK.

Due to sustained growth and an ever growing pipeline of work, the team in Sutton Coldfield are now seeking an experienced Principal Landscape Architect to join their team.

THE POSITION – PRINCIPAL LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT

This is an outstanding opportunity for a Principal Landscape Architect to join a leading multi-disciplinary practice, focusing predominantly on the Residential sector. The ideal candidate will hold at least 6-10 years of industry experience, ideally having spent most of that time working within the Residential sector.

This position would require a Principal Landscape Architect that can enter the practice and hit the ground running, leading projects and running a small team will confidently liaising with clients and 3rd parties. Sound technical ability and producing working drawing packages comes as part and parcel with the position. The practice use AutoCAD primarily, so AutoCAD proficiency is therefore high on the list of required criteria for the role.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS – PRINCIPAL LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT:

A degree in Landscape Architecture or a HNC/HND in a related field.
CMLI accreditation
At least 6 years of industry experience, ideally having already operated at a Senior level.
A demonstrable background of working in the Residential sector. Experience of working in a housebuilder/developer would be ideal.
Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD (essential) & Revit (desirable)
