Employing over 50 staff at their site in Coventry our client is looking to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to their dynamic and vibrant team, this will be a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a forward-thinking successful business that put their employee’s development as one of their main priorities.

This Mechanical Design Engineering role is perfect for those who are passionate, energetic, and willing, working closely with industry experts on exciting new and varied projects.

The Role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for applying yourself within the design department, working closely with the Technical Manager to provide 3D designs on both standard and bespoke equipment using SolidWorks and Draught Site CAD packages.  

Some of the duties that a Mechanical Design Engineer will have to carry out are:

To produce 3D Model designs of equipment and machinery.
To produce layout and P&ID drawings.
To Produce detailed design drawings using SolidWorks.
Work and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Undertake new challenges and apply are technical skills learnt.
The Candidate

To be successful in your application for the Mechanical Design Engineer role you will need:

An Engineering qualification.
Experience with CAD packages.
Excellent analytical skills.
Strong skills in written and verbal communication.
