Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working in partnership with a hugely successful multi-disciplinary practice in Birmingham city centre, seeking to appoint an experienced Architect or Senior Architect to join their growing team.

The practice operate out of two locations in the UK, with offices in Birmingham & London with the West Midlands office being the head office. The company is home to a range of talented and like-minded individuals, with teams in Architecture, Project Management, and Surveying. Due to sustained growth and a solid pipeline of work, the Birmingham office is now seeking to appoint a Senior Architect within the team.

The Senior Architect for this position will ideally have demonstrable experience of working within the Education sector, along with the added benefit of having worked on Residential schemes also. The practice work in Education, Residential, along with some Commercial and Emergency Service schemes. The practice are seeking a Senior Architect that can head up various Education schemes, which will include leading teams of Architects and Technicians whilst being the job runner.

The practice are heavily invested in Revit software and operate at BIM Level 2 on several projects. It is therefore highly desirable that the Senior Architect for this position to have some experience in BIM Coordination/Management, and be highly proficient in Revit software.

Skills and qualifications of the Senior Architect required as follows:

Qualified Architect with UK recognised qualifications at Part 1, 2 and 3 level.
ARB registered / RIBA chartered
Approximately 5 years of post qualification experience
Already operating in a senior capacity would be ideal, but an experienced Architect looking at stepping up would also be considered.
Experience of working in the Education sector is essential, along with the added benefit of Residential experience.
Comfortable in a client facing role.
Job running capabilities.
Experience leading teams and mentoring & developing lesser experienced team members.
Contract administration experience.
Strong technical ability including producing working drawings, construction packages and architectural details.
AutoCAD proficiency is essential, Revit knowledge would be a benefit.
