Creative Workshop Manager – Based in Birmingham – B35.
We’re looking for a hard-working and experienced individual to help manage our high-end projects for the biggest names in the entertainment resort and experience design industries.

They are experts in Experience Design and Creative Build for Theme Parks, Waterparks, Resorts, Attractions, Museums, Live & Experiential Events, and TV & Film.
Their award-winning, multi-disciplinary team of talented individuals come from the biggest names in the creative entertainment industry, from Walt Disney Studios, Universal Studios, and The Lego Group to Warner Bros. and Merlin Entertainments.
They currently work from creative studios in London, Barcelona, and Dubai and operate an extensive, state-of-the-art Creative Build Production facility in Birmingham, UK.
Due to continued expansion, their Birmingham facility is looking for a Creative Workshop Manager.
Job Description
The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and controlling the manufacturing process within the designated department(s). They’ll be a key leader in culture setting, strategic planning, balancing capacity to demand, and monitoring & scheduling of staff and work operations for the departments in a safe, quality-oriented, and efficient manner. They will confer with Design and Project Managers to coordinate the activities of individual departments. They will also oversee processes relating to absence, performance monitoring and the overall development of department associates as well as analysing and resolving work-related issues/problems/complaints and assisting Operational Managers in these areas.
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:
We are looking for someone with:

A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Theming, Props/Scenic environment with demonstrated team participation, leadership, and related continuous improvement successes.

A sound working knowledge of lean principles.
*
Strong analytical, problem-solving, delegation, and conflict-resolution skills.
*
Adaptable to change and have the ability/desire to make a difference
*
A “Will Do” attitude.
*
Ability to maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary to successfully perform all assigned responsibilities.
Education:
Educated to Degree level in Theming, Prop making and Scenic painting.
Hours of work:
Monday-Friday
Salary:
£40-£50K
