Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £25000 – £30000/annum

Our client is a group of dedicated professionals with a passion for architecture. The Role:

The successful candidate will be working on a lot of residential projects and in the upcoming future will be working on High end larger residential builds.

The Successful candidate will be required to:

* creating building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications
* liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects
* working closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists
* applying for planning permission and liaising with planning departments
* adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction
* playing a part in project and team management
* travelling regularly to building sites, proposed locations and client meetings

Skills and qualities:

* Successful applicants should have achieved a 1st or 2.1 honours degree or equivalent
* will have good design and detailing skills
* confidence to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Experience in job running, as well as producing planning and tender packages, would be a bonus.
