We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Senior Graphic Designer to join a successful and established creative design agency in central Birmingham. This exciting new role offers opportunity for progression to Creative Director. There is a great variety of work across branding, campaigns, and marketing collateral through traditional print mediums and digital assets, for a wide range of clients in the leisure, hospitality, and education sectors. The role is permanent, studio based 5 days per week in central Birmingham, working hours 8am-4pm, salary £35k to £45k depending on experience.

Our client is an independent, well-established, and state-of-the-art creative studio based in a converted Victorian pen factory in the heart of Birmingham's world-famous Jewellery Quarter, a truly fantastic and inspiring location putting them at the centre of Birmingham's arts and culture scene. Working with an impressive range of clients across the UK and into Europe, they provide creative and design expertise across branding, campaigns, exhibitions, and web design. The team is passionate about Birmingham and proud to have their work installed at some of Birmingham's cultural landmarks. This friendly team loves ordering in breakfasts and lunches and eating together, and they love after-work social events and local business networking.
The Role
As Senior Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in the agency, taking ownership and the creative lead on your projects, working directly with clients from taking the brief and project managing all the way to completion, sometimes liaising with freelance resource including Photographers, Videographers, and Designers. You will have the opportunity to work with some big brands and create high-quality concepts and designs for a wide range of projects including branding, re-brands, campaigns, and marketing collateral. You will be responsible for working from concept to artwork, using your strong print production knowledge to ensure all your work is delivered accurately, on time and budget. You will also deputise for the Creative Director when required.
About You
You are an experienced Graphic Designer with experience in the leisure, hospitality, and education sectors. You have tremendous creative flair and love presenting your ideas and working directly with clients. You are passionate about producing high-quality design and print and have a varied portfolio to demonstrate this. You have strong knowledge of print production and are very experienced in taking your designs through artwork stage and creating print-ready files. You are used to working in a fast-paced environment working on multiple projects, small and large. You have expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, and some experience in After Effects would be beneficial.
