Due to rapid growth and client demands they are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team in Birmingham.

The Role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will serve a key role within the team and be involved throughout the life cycle of a project.

Key responsibilities for a Mechanical Design Engineer will be to:

Produce AutoCAD drawings and works instructions for the factory to manufacture

Produce drawings on AutoCAD for pretender work enquiries.
Design any customer components that may be necessary to complete installation
Inspect the finished components to ensure that they are correct to specification, as and when required.
Ensure that projects are completed to the agreed time scale and meet all the customers’ requirements.
The Candidate:

The ideal Mechanical Design Engineer would have:

AutoCAD or SolidWorks experience
A background in fabrication and sheet metal
Experience working with special purpose machinery
Engineering Qualification
A team player mentality but also be able to work independently
Good communication skills
