Location: Coventry

ATA Recruitment are working with a luxury fabricator and installer of washrooms for high end commercial properties, they are looking for a dynamic CAD Technician to join their fun, passionate and trusted company in Coventry.

Working on bespoke Luxury buildings predominantly in London this is a fantastic opportunity for the right CAD Technician to build on their skills and knowledge with the prospect to progress to a Design Manager in 12 months. With projects ranging up to 1 million in value and with increasing orders the business has seen a steep growth in a short space of time therefore having the need to expand their design team.

The Role

As a CAD Technician you will provide design input and 3D CAD drawing service for the Contracts and Design team, working as part of the in-house CAD team.

Key responsibilities for a CAD Technician will be:

To Create a 3D floor plan in Autodesk Inventor
To build up the 3D model for the washroom
To produce the cut through and sectional view drawings
To provide feedback to the CAD Technician to manipulate the drawings
To produce the manufacturing drawings for the fabrication shop
To Produce the 2D assembly drawings for the installation team

The Candidate

The ideal CAD Technician will have:

Exposure to Autodesk Inventor
The ability to produce assembly and manufacturing drawings
Proficiency in reading construction and manufacturing drawings
The ability to work from architectural design drawings
The ability to be a team player and be accountable
Be able to empathies and with and fit in with the company culture.
