Group Aftersales Manager

The ideal candidate would possess managerial experience in the agricultural industry or general Aftersales service environment. The Group Aftersales Manager will be required to work at all four Farmstar Depots in order to get a true feel for the operational side of all areas of the business and in turn lead the Service and Parts Managers to develop the efficiency and profitability of their departments. They will have a proven track record of improved practices and processes in the Aftersales area.

About The Job

In addition to the above you would be required to do the following:

* To ensure an industry leading experience is provided to all our customers

* To manage budgets and ensure targets are achieved or exceeded

* Have previous experience in procurement and have the ability to deal with suppliers for the Company. This in turn will lead to a wider project to consolidate our current supplier list in order to reduce small stock options of the same parts from different suppliers

* To ensure all health and safety guidelines are adhered to

* To manage the training, mentoring and development of all department employees

* To liaise with manufacturers and customer to ensure solutions are found to any escalating issues

* To manage and develop even further the Precision Farming side of the business

* To develop and manage a project to sell off aged stock in a timely manor

About You

* The role would suit someone with both Parts and Service experience at a managerial level

* You will have a drive and willingness to develop as an individual

* You will have the drive and talent to push the department forward; working to achieve agreed KPI’s and brand standards

* In addition, your need to have strong management and leadership skills with a real passion for the industry

* You will have the ability to manage various departments across the Company and implement a uniform set of working practices

* You will need to be able to accommodate flexible and seasonal hours in line with industry demands
