HGV Technician Job Details
Basic Salary: £41,600pa – 40 Hour Week
Working Hours:
Week 1 – Monday-Friday – 06:00-13:30 + Saturday Morning 07:00-12:00
Week 2 – Monday-Friday – 12:30-21:00
Location: Barnsley
My client is looking for an enthusiastic HGV Technician with a background in a dealership or fleet maintenance environment that can help maintain a fleet of commercial vehicles.
Responsibilities of an HGV Technician
·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.
Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Mechanic
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
