Our client is looking for an experienced Manager to join their team, where you will be responsible for the people management of a team of 5, ensuring the workshop is fully functional.
You will need to possess strong leadership skills, enjoy leading by example and motivating your team, and ensure that the high level of standard and service is always maintained.
Role:
* Daily management of workshop staff.
* Overseeing all vehicles in and out of the workshop, delegating daily work schedule to workshop staff.
* Coordinate with Office Manager and team to ensure smooth running between departments.
* Management of database, ensuring used correctly to enable smooth day to day running.
* Ensuring workshop capacity utilised effectively. Diary management using internal booking system.
* General management of workshop staff, undertaking appraisals/personal development plans and monitoring staff performance and discipline. Liaising with Office Manager to ensure correct HR procedures followed.
* Management of all workshop Health & Safety procedures, ensuring works carried out safely.
* Sourcing parts and spares and keeping necessary records.
* Achieving the timescales agreed with clients and managing the labour/material cost ensuring the gross profit margin is maintained.
* Other duties delegated by Company Director.
