About The Role
We are looking for Workshop Electrical Pump Engineer to join the team at our busy Liverpool branch within our Submersible repair centre.
This role will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and testing of our electrical and mechanical equipment in a safe, professional and efficient manner.
The ideal candidate will hold practical and electrical engineering skills. which ideally has involved stripping items to estimate and rebuilding to be reused
Tasks and responsibilities for this role include:
* Perform repairs, service or preventative maintenance on equipment as directed by the Manager to the standards and timescales required.
* Maintain, install, service and repair electrical/mechanical pump sets, and site equipment within the hire fleet and also any customer units as required to the required legislative standards
* Produce reports and estimates to repair set units and advise on safety issues as necessary.
* Ensure necessary Risk Assessment/ Method Statements are documented and completed or adhered to. Ensure they are properly communicated and followed.
* Acknowledge and adhere to site specific requirements specifically Health & Safety procedures.
* Be able to accept responsibility for the proper completion of jobs and, if required , supervise other operatives.
* Update relevant databases to ensure accuracy of the information.
* Maintain excellent internal and external customer relations by displaying politeness, respect and co-operation with Staff, Customers and the public.
* Communicate accurately to your immediate manager, work colleagues and customers regarding certain job specifications when required,eg, missing and damaged items.
