About the Role
We are looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in our Liverpool Office. This role will assist the team by carrying out quantity surveying duties for all contract work as directed by the Senior Quantity Surveyor. This will include but not limited to, preparing and submitting valuations to clients, placing sub-contract orders and making sub-contract assessments in line with tendered strategy. Be involved in the preparation and submission of final accounts, ensuring timeous receipt of monies by efficient invoicing and collection of all debts.
Although this role is Liverpool based, the commercial team are required to be flexible and must be prepared to travel for site based key projects and meetings.

About you
The successful candidate will hold a relevant construction qualification or be interested in pursuing a Quantity Surveying professional qualification. You will be an excellent communicator, client focussed with good commercial awareness and commitment to business success. In addition, you will have experience of working in the construction industry in a Civil Engineering environment. You will have good time management skills and the ability to plan your own workload, working under pressure to meet deadlines.
