Our Client is looking for an enthusiastic Web Developer with a strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript, to join their growing Digital Production team
Location: Southend
Salary: £30,000 – £50,000 p/a DOE
Working days: Monday to Friday
Working hours: 9am to 5pm
Duration of contract: Permanent
Duties:
Working alongside the design and development teams to develop websites of approved designs and bring them to life on screen
Exploring new technologies to help keep up to date with current trends and applying this knowledge to relevant projects
Building fully functioning websites for all types of browsers and devices and testing every scenario to deliver aesthetically pleasing, functional finished projects, such as static/responsive websites, mobile web apps, Facebook competition widgets or HTML email campaigns.
Requirements:
Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript languages
Passion for the web and development in general, with an outlook to deliver the best user experience to all website visitors
Close attention to detail, for the creation of pixel-perfect websites
Ability to work to W3C standards is essential and website must fully optimised for search engines such as Google and Bing
