Our client is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join their already talented team of chefs in this excellent restaurant near Ticknall Derbyshire
You will be assisting the running of the team and lead from the front whilst ensuring the team are kept motivated.
You'll have a passion for producing consistently great dishes with a fair and supportive owner. The restaurant has space for 200 guests and is a popular wedding venue also. The client is looking for an innovative Sous Chef to take it to the next the level.
Your Time at Work
The Role:
We are looking for someone who needs to be passionate about great seasonal ingredients, bring energy, have stamina & inspiration.
As a Sous Chef you must demonstrate the ability to assist the running of your kitchen and produce great food under the pressure of a busy kitchen and work well under pressure as well as be a strong and fair leader and help with supporting your team.
45 hour week – Closed on a Monday.

Your Experience:
– Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a busy fresh food or fine dining environment.
– Have own transport due to location.
– Be a hardworking person with a can-do attitude.
– Have good communication skills.
– Be guest focused & passionate about food.
– Be able to work daytime, evenings and weekends.
– Food Hygiene Level 2.
