Technical & Quality Manager

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a talented Technical & Quality Manager to join our bustling team in Shirebrook, Derbyshire.
As a Technical & Quality Manager, you will work independently to uphold our business's quality standards and ensure our compliance with BRC regulations. This involves reviewing and updating our quality standards, conducting QA and QC checks, and auditing every aspect of our production chain. You will meticulously monitor and control all food safety control points and ensure our HACCP systems are constantly monitored and updated. Compliance with all company policies and procedures related to food safety and quality is a top priority for you. Additionally, you are responsible for implementing and monitoring HACCP, hygiene, induction, GMP, and health and safety policies. You will also maintain our certification schemes, such as BRC and SEDEX, and oversee employee training to ensure everyone is up to date with our standards and procedures.
Hours of Work: Full Time, Permanent, 9:00am to 17:00pm – Monday to Friday
Salary: £35,000 – £37,500 per annum
Technical & Quality Manager Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience ideally within FMCG environment (confectionery or Impulse categories desirable)
BRC, and technical administration experience
Excellent written and Verbal communication skills.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills
Excellent interpersonal skills including an ability to communicate at all levels.
Pro-active self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude, enthusiasm, high energy levels and a tenacious commitment to work.
Attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
