Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:00pm, Friday 7:30am-12.30pm
Location; Darley Abbey, Derby
Our client is seeking a talented and proactive Catering Assistant to assist coordinating their on-site canteen. Working alongside the Catering Manager you will work closely on the day to day running of all catering operations, facilities and ensure excellent food hygiene standards and practises.
The Catering Assistant Role;
* Day to day serving of food
* Responsible for hygiene levels are withheld throughout the facilities
* Ensuring that stock levels are sufficient to meet the demand
* Providing quality food to the 140 staff on site through Breakfast and Lunch menus
* Maintaining high standards of hygiene
Our Ideal Catering Assistant Candidate;
* Experience in catering
* Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
* Experience of preparing chilled foods
* Excellent customer service skills
* Innovative with a passion for quality food
* Follows strict food hygiene standards
* Ability to work without supervision and work as part of a team
* Organised with an eye for detail
* Problem solving skills
