With a commitment to ecological preservation and innovation, they are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Ecologist to join their dynamic multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ecologist to contribute to impactful projects and lead a team of dedicated professionals.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or equivalent in ecology or a related discipline is required.
An extensive background working within the Ecological sector.
Full UK driving license.
Associate or Full membership in CIEEM is held or pursued.Responsibilities
Possess or be working on obtaining a Class 2 bat survey licence, as well as familiarity with development licence applications and monitoring. The concept of biodiversity is well understood. Assessments of Net Gain based on the Defra Metric
Comprehensive knowledge of wildlife regulations and the planning process, as well as habitat and protected species surveying Project management experience, pricing quotations, and exceptional report writing skills are required.
Computer skills are necessary, including the usage of QGIS mapping and bat call analysis tools.
