Harewood Downs Golf Club, located near Amersham in Buckinghamshire , is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Greenkeeper. This position becomes available following an internal promotion, offering an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of our prestigious 18-hole golf course.

Key Responsibilities:
* Working closely with and at the direction of the Course Manager
* Ensure the golf course is presented in optimal condition.
* Operate various turf maintenance machinery and use common hand tools.
* Conduct daily course setup, including bunkers, divot repairs, and changing holes.
* Maintain Clubhouse borders and surrounding areas.
* Use machinery in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
* Perform general course repair work.
* Clean and maintain course machinery and furniture.
About You:
* Two years’ experience in Greenkeeping.
* Experience to run all common turf maintenance machinery.
* Ideally qualified NVQ 2 in spots related turf management
* Your own transport and live within a 30-minute drive of Amersham
* A flexible approach to work, work hours and weekend duties.
* Good level of fitness that enables you to work outside and be mobile for large parts of the day
