Seafood Chef
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum
We are on the hunt for a Chef to join our small friendly team within an established Seafood restaurant/bar.
Hours are:
Thursday to Saturday – 12:00 – 20:00
Sunday – 11:00 – 19:00
Duties will include –
– Prepare and cook food in accordance with recipes and quality standards
– Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen
– Manage and train kitchen staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance
– Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed
– Collaborate with the management team to create menus and develop new dishes
– Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
– Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Experience
– Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
– Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques
– Leadership skills to effectively manage a team
– Experience in kitchen management, including inventory control and ordering supplies
– Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
