Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Southern Hill Hospital, Cooks Hill, Gimingham, Mundesley, Norfolk, NR11 8ET
Rate of Pay: £11.50 per hour
Hours of Work: 40 hrs a week, permanent role
Shift pattern: Two week rota:
Week 1 Mon/Tue & Sat/Sun
Week 2 Wed/Thur/Fri 7.30am-8pm
Working as a Receptionist at Southern Hill Hospital your duties will include the following:
* To respond to customer enquiries in a friendly and effective manner, making sure manual and electronic records are maintained.
* Maintain accurate and complete records for residents and staff members confidentially in line with the company’s policies and procedures.
* Dealing with telephone calls effectively from staff, doctors, social workers, family members and other professionals.
* Liaising with head office staff accordingly.
* Maintain an awareness of the Health and Safety requirements.
* Maintain client and business confidentiality at all times
* Continual Personal Development to develop oneself and the role.
* In addition to these tasks, employees may at times be asked to carry out other reasonable duties as required by the service.
Service Information:
Our registered hospital is dedicated to providing specialised care for men and women aged 18 and above, who are struggling with severe mental distress. These individuals find themselves in situations where safe care within the community is not feasible.
Our acute inpatient mental health services support people of working age who may be detained under section of the Mental Health Act or they may be admitted informally to ensure a seamless transition to ensure continuity of care and treatment.
Personal Specification:-
* Knowledge/Experience of MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
* Ability to competently use the internet
* Approachable and presentable
* Excellent telephone manner
* Strong administration skills including numeracy and literacy
* Willingness to help and go the extra mile
* Excellent communication skills
* 1 years experience as a Receptionist
