Salary : £10.92 – £14.56/hour

Are you passionate about working with animals and interested in the field of hatchery operations? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Hatchery Operative to join our client’s team on the outskirts of Boston. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have a keen eye for detail, and are committed to ensuring the highest standards in animal care.
 
What will my duties be?

Carry out daily tasks related to the operation and maintenance of the hatchery facility.
Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of equipment, facilities, and work areas.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, biosecurity protocols, and animal welfare standards.
Collaborate with the team to achieve production targets and meet quality standards.
Document and record data accurately for inventory management and quality control purposes.
Identify and report any issues or abnormalities related to the hatchery operations promptly.
Assist in other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management. 
What skills and experience do I need?

Previous experience in a similar role or working with poultry would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
A strong work ethic with a proactive and flexible approach.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve manual handling.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Knowledge of health and safety practices and the ability to follow protocols.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
MUST NOT have any contact with any Avian Species
*Please note due to site location having your own form of transport would be preferred* 
What hours of work will I be doing?
We have several shifts available.

Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
Monday to Friday, 3am to 11am 
 
How much will I earn?
£10.92 per hour. £14.56 per hour overtime after 40 hours.
