Job Title: Field Logistics Technician
Key Responsibilities:
Rabbit Fencing: Installation, regular checks, and battery management.
Tractor Operation: Experience driving tractors is desirable but not necessary.
Field Operations: Assist specialists in fertilising, pesticide application (boom sprayer, certificates), and handling 10-20kg sacks of seeds.
Isolation Tents: Building and maintenance.
Collaboration: Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless processes.
Forklift Operation: A counterbalance FLT license is desirable; training can be provided
Harvest Time: Loading seed dryers efficiently.
GPS Equipment: Experience with farm machinery GPS equipment and tractors is advantageous.
Flexibility: Willingness to pitch in with various tasks, including manual labour.
Crop Husbandry: Prioritise tasks related to crop care and machinery over forklift driving.
Stock and Inventory: Utilise office and IT skills for managing stock and inventory.Qualifications and Skills:
Valid driving license advantageous.
Experience with tractor operation and farm machinery desirable.
Counterbalance FLT license (desirable; training provided).
Office and IT skills for stock and inventory management.Working Conditions:
36 hours per week as standard; overtime may be available due to workload / season
Weekend work subject to advance booking and change.
