Our Client, who are worldwide innovators dedicated to an efficient and sustainable global aquaculture are seeking a Production Operative with valid FLT licence to join their Grangemouth team on a 6 month contract.

Salary: £23500 per annum plus an additional £6.25 per hour, for all hours worked during a weekend shift.

Shift Pattern:

Annualised hours
Rolling shift pattern.
48 hours per week on a 4 on-4 off basis (2 x 12 hour dayshifts, 2 x 12 hours nightshifts then 4 days off). Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for setting up and managing your area of the production process.
Identifying and marking up the product bags with the correct documentation/information.
Hanging the product bags, filling and weighing with the appropriate material.
Ensuring the efficient collection and movement of stock into the Warehouse.
Adherence to quality procedures, process control, operational instructions and quality checks on finished products to maintain our customer focus.
Ensure all ISO policies and procedures are followed and provide feedback to improve them.
Monitor process, machine operations and materials to ensure quality and conformity of the finished product with client's quality standards.
Adherence to cleaning, hygiene, housekeeping and Company regulations
Documenting and recording information both in written and electronic format.
Adherence to Health & Safety procedures and acting as a H&S ambassador
Operating forklift trucks in a safe manner, ensuring collection and movement of product and materials.
Support the development of a best practice culture
Participate in and support the development of continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure all GMP/Housekeeping and 5S audits are completed.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
A valid FLT Counterbalance licence with previous FLT experience is essential. An added Reach FLT licence would be preferred.
Knowledge of Health and Safety workplace best practice
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel to a Basic level
Experience of other manufacturing systems preferred.
