Process Assistant (technical)

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £25000 – £35000/annum

Sterling Recruitment are delighted to be working with our fantastic client who are looking to add a Process Assistant to their team.

Following an initial training period of 2-3 weeks on day shift you will then move to a 12-hour shift pattern on a '4 on 4 off' basis.

Duties required but not limited to:

· Performing analytical testing of product using equipment to ensure that products adhere to strict specifications.

· Performing checks on equipment used.

· Testing of the on-site water treatment and effluent plants.

· Ensuring all documentation is completed to a high standard.

· Working alongside production and quality teams to assist in problem solving and implementation of corrective actions.

The above list is not exhaustive, and the role will continue to develop in line with the departmental and business needs.

To be considered for the role you must have/be:

· Good attention to detail.

· Experience working in a laboratory environment with a range of analytical equipment.

· Previously worked in a Quality role or has experience performing QC checks.

· Previously worked in the food industry.

· Received food hygiene / HACCP training.

· Ability to problem solve / take the initiative.

· Able to efficiently organise workload.

· Good communication skills.

· Knowledge of Word and Excel
