Post Producer – Advertising

Job Type : Contract, Full Time

Salary : £35000 – £40000/annum

This is a great opportunity to join a small, close-knit team at the heart of a thriving in-house post-production department within one of the worlds leading ad agencies.

You’ll be handling high-end projects for global brands at this award-winning Agency.

12-month FTC initially; possible perm.

The CLIENT

Our client is major, international advertising agency with an excellent reputation for the quality of its work – which is reflected in the number of awards it wins!

The agency has invested heavily in its in-house capability over the years. Its excellent reputation has helped further the careers of many talented creative production professionals within the industry. This role will be the latest addition to the team.

THE ROLE

The Post Producer will handle projects that require a range of offline and online attention and delivery.

Working in close partnership with the senior editor and head of post-production, you will scope and budget projects as they come in – whether they are moodfilms/sizzles, animation, VFX, or wider post-needs from live-action projects previously shot.

Independence and confidence are expected when you communicate with account teams, creatives, agency producers and the wider agency, though support is always present via the EP and Head of Production.

You’ll confidently book freelance editors, creative researchers, VO artists, and with the support of a commercial admin person, you will manage budget approvals, costs spent, and clear reconciliations.

The role is offered initially on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. However, it’s currently the intention to consider the possibility of a permanent role thereafter, although there is no guarantee of this.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Naturally, our client is looking for someone who can ‘hit the ground running’ so this is definitely not an entry level role. However, for someone with experience as a producer already who is looking for a step up, it’s an excellent opportunity.

Essential requirements are as follows:

* A love of producing and post

* Strong experience in Advertising

* Scoping experience for ballparking, estimating, and timelines

* Experience working with editors, motion graphics, VFX, animation or similar

* Strong time management and multi-tasking skills needed and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

* Contacts/relationships with UK freelance talent preferable.

DETAILS

The company offers a competitive annual salary, plus an exceptional range of benefits (details available upon request to qualified candidates)
