Social Media Measurement Analyst- London/Remote-6 months- £40-£45 ph PAYE

A global technology company are looking for an experienced Social Media Measurement Analyst to join their team on an initial 6 month assignment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analysing social media data and metrics to gain insights into audience reach.

Responsibilities:

Analyze company owned channels engagement.
Report on insights for creators we activate for different initiatives and events.
Identify online customer habits and suggest means by which to broaden our audience.
Conduct in-depth research and analysis of earned social media conversations, competitive intelligence, and audience segmentation to inform media intelligence initiatives.
Advise teams on their social media activity and activations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including media analysts, researchers, and product managers, to identify business needs, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide data-driven recommendations.
Conduct ad hoc analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in media data, and generate actionable insights to optimize media strategies and campaigns.
Perform data mining and exploratory analysis to uncover new opportunities for improving media intelligence processes and outcomes.
Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis and visualization, and actively contribute to the team's knowledge base.Skills/ Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Media Studies, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience as a Social Media Analyst, Digital Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a media, technology, or news organization.
Deep understanding of social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) and their functionalities.
Extensive knowledge of online audiences and how users engage with news and media content.
Proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., Tweetdeck, Cision, Brandwatch, Talkwalker) to extract and analyze audience data.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and insights effectively.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
