Salary : £35000 – £45000/annum + Bonus

We are recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager with experience gained from within the Japanese Knotweed treatment and excavation sector.
Our client works across the UK and offers a specialist Japanese Knotweed & Invasive Species removal service and due to business growth is looking to recruit and experienced Operations Manager who will take on responsibility for London and the South East covering both the commercial and residential sectors.
As the London & South East Operations Manager you will take on responsibility for all allocated projects (please note that on occasion these could include projects from outside your area) for both herbicide and physical removing works which will include:
* Liaising with clients to arrange works.
* As required attend pre-start meeting with Consultants or Directors.
* Preparing and signing off site paperwork (permits to dig, RAMS, check sheets, spray records etc.,)
* Liaising with the Project Controller to order plant, machinery and haulage for waste as required.
* Liaising with and arranging Spray Operatives, Plant Operators and Labourers as necessary to ensure projects are properly resourced.
* Supervising work on site.
* Ensuring high standards of work are maintained.
* Assisting Directors and Consultants as required.
* Carrying out surveys and recording all necessary detail to enable the sales team to produce the sales proposal.
To be considered as the London & South East Operations Manager you will need:
* A minimum of 2 years Japanese Knotweed experience.
* To be happy to travel extensively across London & the South East to oversee your teams and ensure projects are being completed on time, to required standards and that the team in place is fully supported.
* To be happy as needed to jump back on the tools to assist with both spraying and removal projects.
* A Full driving licence (a trailer licence or grandfathers rights would be an advantage).
* Ideally your PA1 and PA6 spraying tickets.
* The skills and awareness to make a positive impact with both potential new and existing customers.
* To be motivated with excellent organisational and man management skills, good attention to detail skills and a proficient user of MS Office packages.

* A salary guide of between £35,000 and £45,000 depending on level of experience.
