Office Manager- 10 Month FTC

Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum
A communications agency in the heart of the WestEnd is looking for an Office Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fun loving group!
Title: Office Manager: Maternity Cover (approx. 10 months from approx. April)
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Oversee IT, office management, administration and facilities management
.• Manage one direct report (Office Assistant/PA to the MD).
• First point of contact to meet and greet guests and answer the telephone.
• Manage fire safety and health and safety protocols.
• Stock and supplies control.
• Organisation of company socials, events and conferences.
• Support with HR including onboarding, training and admin.
• Manage utilities, cleaning and other suppliers including contract negotiations.
• Support the CEO with administrative tasks, where required.
• Organise gifting and catering.
• Manage and troubleshoot IT issues, desking and office equipment.
• Oversee office opening/closing schedule and assist where necessary.
Skills: Other key attributes include:
• Minimum of 3 year’s experience as an Office Manager.
• Experience in managing staff is ideal.
• DIY/Handyman skills would be desirable.
• Well presented, to be the first greeting within the agency.
• Attention to detail.
• Flexibility and adaptability to juggle various tasks and deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Honesty and reliability.
• Good time management and punctuality.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 packages including Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint.
• The ability to use initiative and troubleshoot tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with both clients and internal staff
