Manufacturing Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £40000/annum

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
* Duties include improving and defining new processes for the products released to manufacture following their design phase in site or central development engineering.
* Able to mange NPI and CI projects from start to finish, realizing objectives
* Responsibility for the Manufacturing Technicians function across the site.
* Drive implementation and maintenance of LEAN and CI practices across the organisation.
* Drive culture of Manufacturing Engineering excellence
PERSON
* Understand NPD and NPI procedures and process.
* Have awareness of scorecard KPIs, understand how Manufacturing Engineering actions and strategy effects site performance.
* Have an understanding of STG strategy and objectives, and the timelines for delivery of new products to the site.
* Knowledge and understanding of Lean Manufacturing & Continual Improvement strategy
* Process mapping
* Control Plan development
* PFMEA
* Experience of lean manufacturing and six sigma (DMAIC)
